Padraig “Paddy” Harrington is only a couple of years older than me. It’s hard to fathom that I’ve been a huge fan of his going back at least 25 years. That’s crazy. 1. We are both old. 2. He’s been an amazing player and charming guy for decades.
You could argue he is playing the best golf of his career. That is saying a lot considering he’s won three Major championships.
In our opinion, there are two primary factors why he is playing great golf right now. 1. His mental approach to the game is as spot on as it has ever been during his illustrious career. 2. He’s bombing it. His speed is pretty remarkable, especially considering he receives AARP mailings once a month. He flat out rips it. A special shout-out goes to the team at SuperSpeed Golf who have worked with him to increase his speed. Yep, increase it. Not sustain it. Right now he’s swinging faster than he ever has in his career. Not bad for an ol’ man.
