The Titleist-Filled Bag Behind His 2026 Baycurrent Classic Victory
At 24 years old, Michael Brennan is making winning on the PGA TOUR look like a regular occurrence.
And apparently, what works is a whole lot of Titleist.
Brennan captured the 2026 Baycurrent Classic on Sunday at Yokohama Country Club in Japan, firing a final-round 3-under 68 to finish at 16-under 268 and claim a one-shot victory over Jacob Bridgeman and Keith Mitchell.
The victory marked Brennan’s second PGA TOUR win of 2026 and third career title, following his Wyndham Championship triumph in August and his breakthrough victory at the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship.
Three PGA TOUR wins in just 33 starts.
Not bad for a 24-year-old.
And this one required a little bit of everything.
After entering the final round tied for the lead, Brennan found himself in a battle down the stretch. A bogey at the 10th threatened to derail his momentum, but consecutive birdies at Nos. 11 and 12 put him right back in control.
From there, he closed with six straight pars, including a clutch bunker save at the par-3 16th, to secure another PGA TOUR trophy.
But perhaps the most impressive statistic from the week?
Brennan hit 55 of 60 fairways, including all 15 in Sunday’s final round.
That’s 91.7% driving accuracy for the tournament.
For a player known for his tremendous power off the tee, that kind of precision is downright scary.
And when you take a look inside Brennan’s bag, there’s another interesting story.
His equipment setup is remarkably dialed in for a player who is only 24. From driver through wedges, and from fairway woods to his golf ball, Brennan has built a setup with a very clear identity: Titleist.
And yes, he still plays a 7-wood.

If there’s one club in Brennan’s bag that immediately makes equipment nerds stop scrolling, this is probably it.

It’s not just another current-model fairway wood. It’s a prototype.

Three PGA TOUR Wins. One Very Familiar Bag.
Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Michael Brennan’s latest victory isn’t any individual club.
It’s the fact that his equipment setup has remained so consistent while his trophy collection continues to grow.
In October 2025, he won the Bank of Utah Championship.
In August 2026, he captured the Wyndham Championship.
And now, just two months later, he’s added the Baycurrent Classic.
Three wins in 12 months.
At 24 years old.
And with essentially the same Titleist-heavy setup that helped him capture his previous title.
Take inspiration from Brennan’s bag. Don’t blindly copy it.
The lesson isn’t that every golfer should play a GT3, T100s, four Vokey wedges and a 7-wood.
The lesson is that every golfer should have a bag built around the shots they actually need to hit.
Michael Brennan appears to have figured that part out.
And after another PGA TOUR victory, it’s getting harder and harder to argue with the results.
