Scottie Scheffler captures another FedEx Cup and moves past Tiger Woods in PGA Tour career earnings
Per Associated Press / CNN: “Scottie Scheffler’s second FedEx Cup title, and his 22nd victory on the PGA Tour during this astonishing five-year run, was different from all the others, even if looked all too familiar. Scheffler celebrated with a beer.”
B&B POV: Leading up to the Tour Championship, there was debate over who should win the PGA TOUR Player of the Year award. Consider that debate closed. Scheffler bested the field of 29 (Spaun had to withdraw, so it would have been 30) in the extreme Atlanta heat and closed out his 20-event season with three victories, five runner-up finishes, 13 top 10s, leading the tour in official money and posting the lowest scoring average, beating 2nd-place finisher Collin Morikawa by more than a stroke – that’s Tigeresque.

Callaway Golf cuts ties with Good Good following controversial ad
Per Nick Stavas / Golfweek: “Callaway Golf has cut ties with YouTube golf group Good Good following a controversial advertisement promoting a collaboration between the two brands on a new driver. The video showed Good Good’s Garrett Clark shoving a woman to the ground when she went to grab the driver out of his bag.”
B&B POV: “The Good Good x Callaway Bad-Bad social media ad and crisis communication blunder that played out last week was sad, bizarre, and a great lesson that not all PR is good PR—especially for social media stars.
We know of management companies canceling more than $1 million in Good Good apparel orders, golf courses walking away from hundreds of thousands in booked revenue by canceling Good Good social mixers, and major retailers pulling Good Good clubs, clothing and swag from their shelves.
In the end, this Bad Bad mistake could cost the social media troupe tens of millions of dollars—right or wrong.”

Per Chris Lohman / Balls & Bogeys: “Let’s start with the obvious one. Scottie Scheffler is once again the FedExCup champion. And considering how the week started, he had to earn it.
Scheffler opened with a 5-under 65 and remained in the mix throughout the week. But heading into Sunday, the 2nd most popular Norwegian professional athlete, Viktor Hovland, led, and Scheffler trailed by three shots. Even Halland himself was confident that Hovland was going to hold off Scheff and win the year’s biggest prize.
That’s when Scottie did Scottie things.”

Scottie Scheffler’s Winning WITB: The TaylorMade, Titleist & Srixon Setup Behind His 2026 Tour Championship Victory
Per Thomas Hamden / Balls & Bogeys: Scottie Scheffler had already established himself as the best golfer in the world. The TaylorMade ambassador then went and made the argument even harder to debate.
Scheffler closed out the 2026 PGA TOUR season Sunday at East Lake Golf Club by shooting a final-round 4-under 66, overcoming a three-shot deficit to Viktor Hovland and winning the Tour Championship by three strokes at 16-under.
The victory gave Scheffler his second FedExCup title in three years, his 22nd PGA TOUR victory and another $10 million payday.

Michael Block blows golden chance to claim first PGA Tour Champions title
Per Andy Roberts / Golf Magic: “Michael Block blew a golden opportunity to claim the first PGA Tour Champions title of his career after surrendering his lead in the final round of the Ally Challenge.
The 50-year-old American began Sunday at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Michigan with a two-shot advantage, but a difficult afternoon saw him fall short.”
