Anyone who says that playing golf in the rain is fun doesn’t play golf.
Max Homa, the aspiring Twitter influencer turned 4-time PGA TOUR winner, survived this weekend’s Wells Fargo Championship’s weather and took home the big check — $1.62M to be exact. That would buy a lot of rain gear if the Titleist man ever had to buy some, which he and his immediate friends and family never will need to.
Rory had a big weekend to finish in 5th alone. He was also the only player we saw on TV that wasn’t brutally struggling with the rain, especially on Saturday. For him, a walk in the park, or, reminiscent of a walk at Royal Portrush as a pimply teen.
He’s money. We’re always going to be a big fan. A win is coming his way soon. And we’re picking him to finish P1 at St. Andrews in mid-July.
Back to Homa…the man is good. And he’s having a breakout-star-level season. Sign him up for the Presidents Cup right now. He’ll make a great 12th man and deserves it, at least right now.
