Better lag putting will lead to less stress and lower scores

The video lesson featured below from Titleist staffer Joe Hallett is great for golfers who need to cut down on three-putts. We’ve added a few tips of our own to help you make fewer three putts, which will guarantee that you will start writing lower scores on the card.

  • Work on controlling your follow-through to help with distance control
  • Stop squeezing the life out of your putter grip
  • Pay attention to the speed of the putts your playing partners take
  • Don’t try and make long putts — work on leaving yourself with an uphill 2nd putt
  • Hold your finish, then look up to see where the putt is rolling
  • Practice. Practice. Practice.

Watch. Practice. Compete!
