Like every other pro who played in The Crosby Clambake at Pebble, Spyglass, and Monterey Peninsula CC, Rosey had to play five days of competitive golf, with four of them (Thurs-Sun), each taking a minimum of 6-hours to complete. That’s just plain ol’ roughing it for the Tour’s B-squad (not very many Top 50 guys made an appearance).

Let’s put into perspective just how tough life is on Tour. Even the guys who missed the cut played three of the top 50 golf courses in the US. Most stayed in private homes or at the Lodge at PB. All of them were forced to attend a few “celebrity” events and had to meet/greet with prospective sponsors (CEO-types) and TV/Movie/Music/NFL stars. Crab legs and peel-and-eat shrimp just isn’t for everyone.
