PAYDAY! 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship Prize Money Payout

Camilo pocketed $1.2M for winning the Butterfield this weekend — one of the smallest winner’s checks of the 2023/2024 season. More importantly, he locked up a 2-year PGA TOUR exemption, and certainly this AM his agent is fielding endorsement pitches as I’m writing this article. You see, Camilo is a fan favorite who has been in hiding in recent years due to major emotional and physical ails, but he’s back baby.

Here’s a prediction for you: Camilo will earn a spot in the 2024 Tour Championship. Bank it!

Another player to call out for his stellar play is Carl Yuan, who teed it up in college at U. of Washington. Our favorite university in all the land. His 4th place finish (pocketed $319k) guarantees Carl a spot in this week’s RSM Classic, the final tourney of the 2022-2023 season. All players who finish top 125 in FedEx Cup points after the RSM earn their tour card for the 2024 season. Right now Carl is in position #125. Make the cut this week, and he’s probably a lock to keep his card for ’24. Miss the cut, and he’s likely out. How about that pressure?
