These guys earned every penny, especially Wyndham, for entertaining us over four days, playing amazing golf on an underrated major championship-caliber course, Quail Hollow (Quail hosted JT’s first PGA Champ win back in ‘17).
Surely Xander Sunday night was going back over his final round in his head, picking out shots he wished he had back, knowing he could have pulled off the victory. Finishing 2nd is never fun for a player the caliber of Xander.
But when he sees the $2M+ post in his bank account Tuesday AM he‘ll probably just say, “fuc* it” with a smile on his face and move on to the next challenge. Cha-Ching makes all the pain of finishing 2nd wash away unless it’s a major or a Ryder Cup. We think.
