Cam Young got whipped on Sunday and was certainly embarrassed (he did a helluva job with his post-round interview) with not making it past the 13th hole, losing 6&5. But you know what can quickly turn a frown upside down? The $2.2M check he received for finishing runner-up.
The Dell Match Play is/was an elevated event and the money earned by the PGA Tour’s best was spectacular, to say the least. Just look at the difference between the quarterfinalists and semi-finalists. A cool half-mill. Crazy $$$.
