PAYDAY! Masters 2024 Prize Money Payouts

Scheffler pocketed $3.6M and very possibly an actual second green jacket. Or, he won the cash and the cool Big-A Trophy that winners get — a replica of ANGC clubhouse.

Question for someone smarter or more connected than us: If you win the Masters a 2nd time, do you actually get a 2nd jacket? Good question. This year alone he’s won $15,093,235, and over his young PGA TOUR career he’s already earned $57,658,464, good for 10th all-time. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Masters rookie (heck, any major championship rookie) Ludvig Aberg took home $2.16M after finishing in 2nd, three shots clear of three chaps who depressingly flew home private with a cool $1M (pre-tax) in their bank accounts. Losing does suck no matter how much you make. Each of Aberg, Morikawa, and Homa at least had a share of the lead Sunday but couldn’t keep pace with Scheff.

After playing four days and 72 holes, Bryson and Cam Smith made $700k (T-6), Hatton took home $540k (T-9), and D-bag P. Reed made $400k (T-12) – the four top LIV finishers.

The only amateur to make the cut was cherubic Neal Shipley (T-53), who would have made around $46k had he been playing as a pro. But since he was an amateur he got to take home a medal and some amazing memories, including teeing it up with Tiger on the final day.
