World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler secured his second major championship with an impressive victory at the 2025 PGA Championship on Sunday at Quail Hollow Club. After a challenging front nine, Scheffler took charge on the back nine, building a lead of up to six shots before claiming the win by five strokes.
In the 2025 golf season, Scheffler has recorded two first-place finishes: the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship. This latest triumph at Quail Hollow follows his recent victory at his hometown event, the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, just two weeks ago.
His earnings in 2025 now sit at $10.1 million. Last season, Scheffler made $29.2 million in prize money, part of a record $62 million year when including the $25 million for winning the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup and other bonuses.
