So much to unpack here.
First off, Fitz is an equipment free agent outside of his ball – Titleist Pro V1x
His clubs of choice range from new (Vokey wedges, duh) to 10-year-old Ping irons. His driver and fairway woods are a couple of years old. And not made by the same manufacturer.
He doesn’t carry a 3-wood or driving iron. The kid must sleep with his driver considering the trust he has to hit it over and over again on the tight driving holes at Harbour Town.
The next time Fitz is playing a bag of clubs from a single manufacturer he’ll be needing some extra spending money — which will be never.
