Peter Malnati is primarily known for two things on tour. One, he plays with a yellow Titleist Pro V1x golf ball. The only golfer on the PGA TOUR to play a yellow ball (we love us some yellow pellots). Secondly, he prances around the course in a comfortably flaccid bucket hat. The kind of hat that usually makes it rounds at the local muni during the warmer, sweatier months. Not the most fashionable look. But for Malnati, he makes it work. And on Sunday, playing a full bag of Titleist clubs and his yellow Pro V1 pellets, he beat a full PGA TOUR field to win the Valspar Championship. How about them apples!
