Finau played with a Ping driver set to 7 degrees in Mexico. He pounded it low and hard and his tee shots rolled out for miles, literally.
His 3-wood was set at 14 degrees (Callaway). Rip stick.
His 3-iron was bent to 2-iron loft and he hit it all week like God himself crafted it out of the finest of metals.
And, for those paying attention at home, Finau had a Vokey lob wedge (60) in his bag. Shocking.
It’s hard to argue against Finau’s set-up especially after he just captured his 6th Tour victory, shooting 24-under, winning by 3 and beating Jon Rahm heads-up, who played in his group on Sunday. Big time victory!
