WITB Winner’s Bag: Viktor Hovland, 2023 Memorial Tournament

Ping was the big equipment winner yesterday riding the coattails of Mr Hovland’s stellar play. My god he hits a high ball!

When we dissected his bag we peeped what could be the highest lofted 3-wood (16.5) on Tour, compliments of TaylorMade, a 2022 Stealth 2 model, as well as a 21.5 degree current-model Ping 7-wood.

If you want to play his winning Ping irons, hunt online marketplaces like eBay, because the current/favorite model he’s playing was released 5-years ago and is not still in production.

The big Norwegian is strong as hell. And continues to look like he’s picking up bulk — the good kind. Not the DeChambeau HGH-fueled kind.

Keep hitting the high ball, Viktor. You’re fun to watch.
