Tommy Fleetwood can finally call himself a PGA Tour winner, claiming 2025 Tour Championship
– by Adam Schupak / Golfweek
Per Adam: “After holing his final putt, Tommy Fleetwood tilted his head back and let out a primal scream on the 18th green that was a cocktail of pride, relief, and joy…”
B&B POV: Well, Tommy saved his best golf for the last tournament of the PGA Tour season. Yesterday, he lifted the $10 million Tour Championship winner’s check and trophy in sweaty Atlanta. In his 164th tour start, he won. He finally won. Arguably the most liked player on tour is now the most liked player on tour with a win. And the floodgates may now open wide and far. Tommy is a global golf superstar. Look out, gents, we’re betting our house he’s about to go on a world-class heater.

PGA Tour’s return to Trump Doral completes fascinating pro-golf shift
– by James Colgan / GOLF
Per James: “It is best not to attribute to politics what can better be attributed to money.
And money is the real reason behind the PGA Tour’s decision to bring a tournament back to Trump Doral, the golf resort the president has owned since 2012…”
B&B POV: He’s back, baby. President Trump has once again ingratiated himself with PGA Tour officials, and his famous Doral property in Florida will host a newly minted Signature event in ’26. During his run-up to the election, he declared that within minutes of taking office, he’d resolve the LIV/PGA split. He hasn’t been able to do that. But he has managed to make sure his businesses will thrive when a tour event comes to town next year. Congrats, #47.

“Money, money, munnnnnnnn-e,” – TaylorMade executives were surely singing while drinking, as Tommy was closing the deal.

– by Beth Ann Nichols / Golfweek
