Keegan Bradley manages ‘insane’ scene to birdie final hole, win Travelers Championship

– by David Dusek / Golfweek

Per David: “Like every other athlete, hockey players want the lead, but they’ll also tell you a 2-0 lead is the worst lead to have because it can make you complacent…”

B&B POV: Tommy LOST the 2025 Travelers just as much as Keegan WON the event. Watching the final four holes made great golf drama, the kind that forces you to lean in to the TV, nervous for all those teetering on victory or defeat.

We are amped for Keegan and hope he plays on his own Ryder Cup squad later this fall. Tommy, we admire you, sir. We want to see you win. But golf is hard. And no one will hand you your first PGA TOUR victory. You have to go snatch it. LIke how Keegan did.

Minjee Lee’s third major win, at KPMG Women’s PGA, had hidden meaning

– by Josh Schrock / Golf

Per Josh: “For all four grueling rounds at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East, Minjee Lee had the same steely look on her face. No matter birdie or bogey on the firm, fast, fire-breathing setup, her demeanor never changed as she roared out to a four-shot lead through 54 holes, putting a third-career major title within her grasp…”

B&B POV: Minjee Lee won her 3rd major and 11th LPGA Tour title yesterday in Frisco, TX. The weather was brutally hot for the ladies, with the heat index registering in triple digits thanks to crazy humidity. Around the time Minjee was lifting her KPMG trophy Sunday, her Insta-famous and unquestionably talented brother, Min Woo, was flailing away near dead last in the Travelers, finishing up T-63. Minjee > Min Woo. And it’s not even close.

What’s in the Bag (WITB): Keegan Bradley, 2025 Edition

– by Thomas Hamden / Balls & Bogeys

Per Thomas: Bradley’s setup isn’t just an endorsement deal showcase—it’s a carefully curated arsenal, designed to optimize every part of his game. With Srixon and Cleveland writing the checks, and premium clubs from PING, TaylorMade, and Odyssey rounding out the bag, Keegan isn’t afraid to mix and match what works.

And as Sunday at the Travelers proved—when it’s working, it’s winning.

Bradley Delivers! Winners & Losers from the 2025 Travelers Championship

– by Thomas Hamden / Balls & Bogeys

Per Thomas: Keegan Bradley gave New England golf fans a patriotic thrill Sunday, winning the Travelers Championship for the second time in three years. With chants of “USA! USA!” raining down at TPC River Highlands, Bradley stuck a 9-iron to six-feet on the final hole and drained the birdie to edge Tommy Fleetwood by one. Even though he pocketed $3,600,000 and won a cool trophy—who doesn’t love winning trophies?—his biggest prize for winning yesterday very well may be the golden ticket he gives himself to play in the Ryder Cup in late September. If his job is to pick the best team, he needs to be on it!

Tiger Woods can join PGA Tour Champions in 2026. Will he make a return to Firestone?

– by Ryan Lewis / Golfweek

Per Ryan: “There’s a chance Tiger Woods could again be prowling Firestone South next summer, but the question remains: Will he jump to the PGA Tour Champions circuit? …”

B&B POV: Every tournament director of a PGA TOUR Champions event is salivating at the idea of Tiger teeing it up in their fledgling event next season. Can you imagine the throng of die-hard Tiger fans travelling to Grand Blanc, MI (The Ally Challenge), Sioux Falls, SD (Sanford International), or Little Rock, AR (Simmons Bank Championship) to see the GOAT live in action? We hope he plays in a handful of Senior Tour events, starting with the HOAG Classic in Newport Beach, CA, at Firestone, and a few majors.
